CADILLAC NEWS -- The online version of the Cadillac (Evening) News. The entire paper is not online, but major
stories and good links are included.
PETOSKEY NEWS -- The online version
of the Petoskey News Review. The entire paper is not online, but
the major stories and good links are included.
TRAVERSE MAGAZINE -- Traverse is one of the region's most popular magazines in print. Their Web
edition features their signature blend of nicely done articles and great images.
MICHIGAN LIVE -- As close as it gets to a statewide Internet newspaper. Michigan Live provides a statewide edition, as well
as local editions for many Michigan cities (Ann Arbor, Flint, Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and others).
CNN INTERACTIVE -- All the power of CNN and more. This is a really cool news source with super images, 3-D, sound clips, and scored
of departments. This is how the Internet is supposed to work!
THE WEATHER UNDERGROUND -- The Weather Underground is a website produced by the University of Michigan
especially for use by K-12 classes. You'll find access to forcasts and conditions, weather imagery, and all sorts of neat statistics. Plus, there are curriculum activities provided for you to use with your classes.
USA TODAY -- USA Today is the "Nation's Newspaper," and you get all the features on the Web
that you find in print -- even the cool charts and graphics. Plus, there are special departments for use in schools. This is also a good source to print out articles for use in the classroom (instead trying to photocopy newsprint).
